Hebei Xinte Group Completes the 50-Meter Giant Sculpture of Wang Zhaojun for Three Gorges Romance

The large-scale sculpture themed on Wang Zhaojun at the Songcheng · Three Gorges Romance Scenic Area is located in Sanjiang Village, Lucheng Subdistrict, Yidu City, Hubei Province. The sculpture project was fully fabricated by Hebei Xinte Group and completed and unveiled in 2024. Standing at a total height of 50 meters, the integrated cement sculpture boasts a magnificent volume and serves as a landmark cultural landscape of the scenic area. Its overall design echoes the natural charm of the Three Gorges mountains and rivers. The base is shaped like natural mountain ranges and forms a neat rectangular structure, with the statue head of Wang Zhaojun standing tall atop the mountain base. Its front and rear outlines blend seamlessly with the mountain mass, presenting a dignified and imposing visual effect. With smooth and grand sculptural lines, the sculpture vividly depicts Wang Zhaojun’s unparalleled beauty as well as her inner spirit of upholding justice, fortitude and courage. Drawing on its mature construction experience in large outdoor landscape sculptures and the molding advantages of cement sculptures, Hebei Xinte Group fully reproduced the design concept integrating mountains and rivers. After its completion, the Wang Zhaojun sculpture deeply resonates with the profound cultural heritage of Wang Zhaojun in the Three Gorges region. It acts as a vital cultural medium for spreading the patriotism embodied in Wang Zhaojun’s marriage alliance with the Xiongnu, enriching the profound historical and cultural ambiance of Songcheng · Three Gorges Romance.
