Hebei Xinte Group Undertakes the Provincial Games Themed Sculpture at Huangshi Olympic Sports Center

  The large thematic sculpture located at Huangshi Olympic Sports Center in Hubei Province is a landmark landscape specially built for the 15th Hubei Provincial Games. Standing at a total height of 35 meters, the sculpture was led and designed by Teacher Chen Yucun from Hubei Institute of Fine Arts, with the full set of production and construction undertaken by Hebei Xinte Group.

Crafted in layers with a variety of techniques and materials, the work features distinct layers and profound implied meanings. The upper torch main body is made of stainless steel with a striking bright red surface; the middle base is cast in bronze to echo Huangshi’s mineral culture heritage; the huge bottom base is carved from stone adorned with exquisite forged bronze decorative patterns. The ingenious integration of diverse materials endows the sculpture with both artistic aesthetics and distinctive regional cultural characteristics.

Boasting comprehensive experience in delivering large-scale urban landscape sculptures, Hebei Xinte Group accurately realized the designer’s creative vision and coordinated the simultaneous construction of stainless steel, cast bronze, stone and forged bronze works. After its completion, the sculpture has become a highly recognizable urban cultural icon of Huangshi Olympic Sports Center. It embodies the spirit of the Provincial Games and Huangshi’s local industrial and mining culture, showcasing the city’s charm to citizens and sports enthusiasts all year round.
