Taigu District *Statue of Mencius' Mother* Sculpture Project

The project is located in Taigu County, Shanxi Province. The sculpture stands **28 meters high** and is made of **forged copper**. It was designed by Professor Wu Weishan, Director of the National Art Museum of China, and fabricated and completed by our company, Hebei Xinte. Mother Meng was an exemplary educator of her son. The legendary stories of *"Mencius' Mother Moving Three Times"* and *"Cutting the Weaving to Inspire Learning"* not only helped nurture Mencius into the *"Second Sage"* of Confucianism, but also made Mother Meng an immortal model of a wise and virtuous mother in Chinese history.
