# Sculpture Project of "Light of the Overseas Chinese" The Sculpture Project of "Light of the Overseas Chinese" is located in the Overseas Chinese Cultural Square, Taishan City, Guangdong Province. The sculpture stands **18 meters high** and is made of **weathering steel**. It was completed by **Hebei Xinte Landscape Architecture Sculpture Co., Ltd.** The sculpture consists of two abstract forms, each about **16 meters tall**, crafted from weathering steel. They resemble two petrels soaring with outstretched wings, as well as sails advancing across the ocean. This symbolizes the unity and solidarity of the people and overseas compatriots of the "two Taishan communities" at home and abroad. It represents their commitment to inheriting the pioneering spirit of their predecessors, forging ahead bravely, engaging in innovation and entrepreneurship, and striving for progress. It also signifies that Taishan City will ride the wind and waves in the new era, set sail for success, and march from victory to greater victory.
